We love womens cycling!

The website for cyclists of all ages and abilities. We aim to be the one stop resource for charity, fun and family ride listings. We also offer a place for cyclists to publish blogs about  your cycling experiences, touring stories and to showcase your recommended cycle friendly places to stay & activities.
We are passionate about all aspects of womens cycling and are pleased to announce we have expanded our ladies section. We have updated our events page with four awesome new rides , adding extra pages including cycling holidays in France especially designed for female cyclists and a report on a great recommended event, Divas On Wheels.

Tours du Tarn - womens cycling holidays in France

Fancy a week of cycling, socialising, food and drink specifically designed for groups of female cyclists? Tours du Tarn are a family run cycling business based in South West France offering centre-based tours from our newly renovated barn where each room has a private ensuite and double, twin or superking bed. Our prices include, breakfast, evening meals (with wine!), airport or train station transfers, hybrid bike hire, an 11x5m pool and that's before we even get to the cycling that's on offer! You can find full details and reviews for Tours du Tarn by clicking here.

Great new events

Check out some fantastic rides online. Check out how you can join TV personality Davina McCall on her annual Big Sussex Bike Ride in aid of the wonderful Action Medical Research for Children charity. Something for all levels of cycling experience here with a choice of three distances. Can you keep up with Davina? Next we have a brand new event, the superb Pilgrim Hospices Divas On Wheels, a stunning ride around the quiet country lanes of Kent. You can see a rundown of this event by clicking here to see pictures from the 2017 event, a full description of the day and how you can ride with likeminded ladies, have fun on your bike and make new friends! Also online now we have the return of one of the most popular and enjoyed women only sportives, the 2018 Ladies of the Lake from our friends at Sportive Lakes. The event is now in its fifth year and has been described by one cycling magazine editor as ‘the best sportive I have seen.’ Ladies of the Lake is a special event; so much more than just a sportive. The blend of venue, lovely, supportive riders, breathtaking routes, incredible food and our famously supportive staff creates a unique magic. Finally we have your chance to take on the spectacular Women vs Cancer Ride the Night in May 2019. Cycling 100 km through London at night, you’ll befriend thousands of other super inspiring women from all cycles of life that share your drive to get fit for an amazing cause. Starting and finishing at the beautiful Royal Windsor Racecourse, you’ll soak up the electric Ride The Night vibe with motivational music, speeches and warm-ups. By the time you saddle up at the start line, you’ll be revved up and raring to go. You'll have to be fast to sign up this year as there will only be one ride in London in 2019 instead of the usual two so spaces are limited and expected to sell out quickly so sign up now to avoid disappointment! More details for all of these rides can be found on our updated Womens Cycling Events page.

Cycle Travel Journal

Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, Claire and Ania have now produced their amazing cycling journals. One of these would make a great present for the cyclist in your life! The journal is designed to allow the user to be really creative. Not only are there pages for writing but there are also pages for sketching and creating collages. Throughout, there are beautiful illustrations inspired by Claire’s trip and a world map to document your planned route. You’ll also find motivational quotes, hearty, easy-to- make recipes, touring tips inspired by Claire’s lessons learned, space for contact details of your newly-made friends, and an envelope to store mementoes like ticket stubs or postcards. Even an eco-friendly rubber band is included to hold your journal together.  You can find out more on our recommended page and you can place an order by visiting their online store.
We have a truly stunning blog from Amanda Harris where she wrote about her horrific accident she had two years ago while training for a charity ride. You can read her inspirational story of bravery and determination and how she had Unfinished Business.
