Sportive Lakes Ladies of the Lake    Sunday 10th September 2017
This fabulous women only sportive returns in 2017. The event is now in its fourth year and has been described by one cycling magazine editor as ‘the best sportive I have seen.’ Ladies of the Lake is a special event; so much more than just a sportive. The blend of venue, lovely, supportive riders, breathtaking routes, incredible food and our famously supportive staff creates a unique magic. Our riders travel from every part of the UK, they come back year after year and even return with friends to ride the routes between events. They come to stay for the weekend in our great little town, enjoying the restaurants, bars and making it a brilliant girl’s trip! Shortlisted by Total Women’s Cycling as one of their ‘events of the year’ and described by former Eurosport commentator David Harman as ‘one of the best events I have seen’ Ladies of the Lake is a special day and a great weekend. So come, eat, drink, ride, laugh, make new friends and enjoy one of the great cycling days of the year! There are two routes. The Rusland Rouleur is the shorter route totalling 50km with 827m of climbing. The Three Lakes which is a 73km jaunt through the most wonderful scenery the Lakes have to offer, with approximately 1,254m of climbing. Both rides take you around the beautiful lakes, with the longer route passing over to Hawkshead, around Esthwaite Water, and climbing to Tarn Hows which offers a beautiful view and a lovely descent down to Coniston Water. No restrictions for this ride, wear any outfit you like, ride any bike you like, eat as many cakes as you like, the only rule is that you have a great day!

Cycletta @ Maserati Tour de Yorkshire Ride   Sunday 30th April 2017
The women only wave of Maserati Tour de Yorkshire Ride offers a unique mix of Tour de France delivery combined with Yorkshire hospitality and beauty resulting in a sportive dream day. Taking place on the 3rd and final day of the Tour de Yorkshire (Sunday 30th April), this is your chance to ride many of the same roads as the pros before they do, including the pro finish line, complete with support from the waiting crowds. The location has now been announced and we're heading to Fox Valley (Sheffield)! Returning for a seventh summer of promoting fun and fitness on two wheels, Cycletta will this year be incorporated into some of the UK’s most highly-regarded sportives for the first time. As more and more women have taken to their bikes over the course of Cycletta’s lifespan, demand has shifted away from introductory-style rides to more challenging courses, which is why we have chosen to incorporate women only waves into our prestigious series of cycling events. The route is 50km long and the route map can be found here. Please note that the distance shown is a guide only and the route may be subject to change. Your ride includes: Mechanical & medical support, energy products provided at feed stations, electronic chip timing, sweep vehicle for those who cannot complete the route, results texted to you as you cross the line and a finisher's medal. Event benefits: Same structures and spectators as for the pro race, routes take in many of the same roads as the pro race, finish on the Tour de Yorkshire finish line and experience full Yorkshire style support through the towns and villages! Entry fees: Adult £42.50.
