Get the wheels in motion and join the UK’s biggest cycling team. Ride for Bloodwise and be part of the 600 strong Team Bloodwise raising funds for research into the third biggest cancer killer. By joining our team, you’ll be raising awareness of blood cancer and supporting Blood Cancer Connect, a brand new support service to help patients and their families find the most relevant support – both online and in their local area. The event's 100 mile route, made famous by the London 2012 Olympics, sets off from Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park and follows closed roads through London and into Surrey’s stunning countryside. Finishing on The Mall in central London, it’s a truly iconic event that celebrates the legacy for cycling created by the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games. You can join this landmark event as part of the Bloodwise team for just £1. We ask that you raise a minimum of £400 in sponsorship and in return you’ll receive a fantastic Bloodwise team cycle jersey, fantastic support from our dedicated team and an exclusive post-race reception with refreshments and massage on the day. Take part in the only closed road cycle ride through the heart of the capital. The RideLondon-Surrey 100 starts in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, before hitting the stunning countryside and leg-testing climbs of the Surrey hills. Following the Olympic road race route this is really a chance to get a feel for what it might have been like in the summer of 2012. The 100-mile route is on fully closed roads, starting at the new Queen Elizabeth Park and incorporating the stunning Surrey countryside en route to the centre of London, sweeping past iconic sights before a spectacular finish on The Mall. The real challenge is completing the course within the eight and a half hours time limit! Join our team and as well as the chance to help power life saving research, you’ll benefit from: a complementary Team BHF cycle jersey, access to our experienced support team and support from our amazing support team throughout the route. Be part of Europe's largest sportive and take on the 100 mile ride for tiny lives. Join Team Action in July on this Olympic Legacy route starting from the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in London. Cycling on closed roads you'll soon be whizzing your way through the streets of London and then out into the beautiful Surrey Hills, tackling climbs such as Leith and the infamous Box Hill. Achieving your goal you'll then head back to London to a hero’s welcome as you cross that finish line and all to help save and change children’s lives! Event includes: a free Action Medical Research jersey to wear on the day if you raise half your pledged fundraising amount by 1 June 2018 and the best Action cheer squad to help you round on the day! The public ballot for Ride London 100 places is currently open. The entry system will close on Friday 5 January 2018 or when 80,000 entries have been received, whichever is earlier.
