The Essex 100 on Sunday 3rd September 2017, offers three options: a Cool 38-mile route that is ideal if you’re new to cycling or haven’t had time to train; the Classic 68-mile option for more of a challenge; or the tougher Champion at 103 miles, ideal if you’re an experienced sportive rider. Our Essex 100 charity cycling sportive is one of our most popular rides attracting over 700 riders. You can enjoy some excellent cycling terrain on this bike ride raising funds for vital research for sick babies and children. Three route options take you on a journey through quiet villages and the farmlands of Essex where the undulations will have you in and out of the saddle.  Click here to see a gallery of pictures from previous Essex 100 rides. This event is part of the charity’s popular RIDE100 series of one-day bike rides that take place in fantastic cycling locations across the UK. All include chip timing, food and water stations, marshals and mechanical support, emergency cover plus a medal for all finishers. Entry: Cool 38 mile route £25*, Classic & Champion routes £38* *There is no fundraising commitment associated with entry but all riders are encouraged to raise what they can.

Join 5,000 other cyclists on Sunday 17th September 2017 for the Bike 4 Cancer London to Brighton charity bike ride! The 58 mile route starts on Clapham Common and travels through Mitcham, Carshalton, Chipstead, Banstead and Haywards Heath. Riders will have to climb the infamous Ditchling Beacon (814 feet above sea level) before a long descent into Brighton. The finish line is in front of Brighton Pier. This event usually sells out very quickly so please register early to secure your place. The London to Brighton bike ride is the perfect event for families, aspiring and experienced cyclists and ideal for corporate teams. Join us in enjoying a day’s cycling on an iconic route while helping to raise funds for those affected by cancer. The spirit of the event is 'taking part' not crossing the finish line first, so go as fast or as slow as you like! Your ride includes:- a buffet lunch mid-route, water stations, marshalling, breakdown assistance, medical cover, full signage and a medal for all finishers. Registration fee: £40 Minimum Sponsorship Amount: £100 before Gift Aid is applied. Please note, riders must be aged 16 years or over on the day of the ride.

Take on our popular London to Brighton Off-Road Bike Ride, and see if you can conquer Europe's biggest charity mountain bike event. Join the Heart Riders team this September for an exhilarating 75 mile challenge along varied terrain. Your physical endurance levels will be put to the test - but it's worth every bead of sweat. Found on the bucket list of many a mountain bike enthusiast, this unique event packs all the best bits of off-road riding together into one jam-packed amazingly varied route that will provide you with a muddy adventure you'll never forget. From steep forest inclines to tricky technical descents, rocky paths to adrenaline pumping single tracks - we've got it all! The variation means there's something on offer for cyclists of all abilities. There's plenty of technical sections to delight the off-road professional - but at 75 miles, the event also presents an achievable challenge to those new to the sport. Your ride includes:- A fully signed and well marshalled route with mile markers, mechanical support, downloadable GPX file, free massage, a medal for all finishers and a festival style party to welcome you to the finish line! For safety reasons, the event has a capacity of 2,500 participants. Registration will close when capacity is reached so sign up as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. Cycle from the city of York, through the scenic moors and countryside of North Yorkshire. Choose from two circular routes, either 22 or 40 miles. Both routes start from the historic city of York and take in some of North Yorkshire's breathtaking countryside. The 22 mile route provides flat, easy riding through farmland and countryside including the eerie moorland of Strensall Common. Challenge yourself to take on the 40 mile route including the eerie moorland of Strensall Common, through Howardian Hills and past Castle Howard. The route then takes you through the undulating Bulmer Bank with a tough ascent in the picturesque village of Hovingham followed long descent to Terrington Bank on the way back to York. Your ride includes:- A fully signed and  marshalled route, a Heart of York t-shirt and a medal for all finishers. Entry fees: Advance pricing - Adult and 14-17 years of age £15. Help us to make 2017 the best year yet while supporting your local hospice. Join us for a leisurely bike ride along the Taff Trail with the choice of riding 25 miles from Merthyr to Cardiff or take on the 50 mile route from Brecon to Cardiff. Meeting at Brecon High School in the market town of Brecon, we will be cycling 50 miles (or 25 miles if you decide to join the route at Merthyr) through the open moorland of the Brecon Beacons and a wide variety of urban and suburban landscapes passing close to Merthyr Tydfil and Pontypridd before finishing at Bute Park/Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Make sure you take in the scenery as this is not a race but a personal challenge so can be taken at your own pace. It’ll be tough but enjoyable with plenty of support and laughs along the way! The route will be marshalled and there will be water stations and WC’s en-route for your comfort and convenience. Entry fees: £15 per person. Transport from Cardiff to Brecon can be booked but places are limited so best to book early. Entry with transport £25. We ask that each participant raises a minimum of £50.00 in sponsorship to help the continued work of St David’s Hospice Care.

This year we'll be celebrating the 21st year of our flagship cycling event, the London Bikeathon, and we’d love you to join us for a fun day of cycling and entertainment. It’s a fantastic way to challenge yourself and have a great time whilst making a huge difference to the lives of blood cancer patients. You don’t need to be a pro to take part so bring the family along for a great day out. With two routes to choose from – 26 and 50 miles – you can enjoy London’s most stunning sights at your own pace. The 50 mile route continues on to the leafy vantage point of Richmond Park, with its amazing views of the capital's iconic skyline. Not only will you earn your very own Bloodwise cycling medal but every penny you raise will help get us closer to our goal of beating blood cancer. Your ride includes:- A fully signed and  marshalled route and a medal for all finishers. Entry fees: Adult £20 for the 26 mile route, £25 for the 50 mile route. Under 16’s £10 for both routes. Join us for a unique cycling challenge, tackling 200 miles of rolling roads in one incredible weekend. Our brand new sportive will test your legs on a mixture of tough climbs, fast descents and scenic flats as you pedal to power Parkinson’s research. The Event is a two day cycling event starting at Blaise Castle in Bristol, ending in Cambridge with an overnight stay in Oxford. Participants are able to enter both days and stay overnight or either day in isolation. Accommodation is included for participants on the full two day ride. Thanks to our partnership with the National Garden Scheme, we will be holding our feed stations along the route at some of the UK’s most beautiful gardens. All our cyclists will receive the very best support from us, including: fundraising and training plans, a fully signed route with medical and mechanical support, chip timing, feed stations at stunning NGS gardens, overnight stay at Jury’s Inn Oxford for those doing the full 200 mile including dinner and breakfast, and a bespoke medal. Itinery: Stage 1: Bristol to Oxford, Stage 2: Oxford to Cambridge. Registration fees:  Single stage: Adult £35, Complete BOXCAM200 (2 days) £75. Minimum sponsorship: Single stage £200, Full BOXCAM200 (2 days) £350. This new event marks 200 years since Parkinson’s was identified. Because 200 years of Parkinson’s is too long, your fundraising will go directly towards our research for new and better treatments in years, not decades. Together we can bring forward the day when no one fears Parkinson’s.

Join us for Birmingham's newest cycling event, the picturesque Velo Birmingham, and cycle your way to raising vital funds for our life saving research. 100 miles of cycling-heaven on closed roads through both city and countryside. Starting and finishing on Birmingham's busy Broad Street, you will be cheered on by thousands as you cross the finish line. You will start and finish the ride in the heart of Birmingham city centre, then follow an exciting journey from city to country, passing through Herefordshire and Worcestershire via Sandwell, Dudley and Staffordshire. Riders will be given full support and regular break stops are provided, along with a well-earned medal at the finish. Registration fee: Adult £40. Minimum fundraising target £400 (excluding Gift Aid). Challenge yourself on this 100 mile route, winding through both city and country roads, and join the fight for every heartbeat!
As an end of summer sportive test, The Swan Cycle II pretty much has it all. Weaving around rural roads in the county of Worcestershire the route will give you some challenging climbs, winding roads and amazing views. With three distances of 10, 30 and 70 miles this sportive is for everyone! We have added an additional Family Ride which is for adults and children (above 12 years of age). The family is a 10 mile route along country roads and passing woods and on a fairly gentle route. The 30 mile Fun Ride route has a steady start taking you north through Drayton and Belbroughton until you begin to climb the Clent. You'll then pass through small villages such as a Elmley Lovett, Hartlebury as you head south where you have an opportunity to recharge at a refreshment stop along the way. For those taking on the 70 mile Challenge Route you will head south towards Upton Warren along fantastic relatively flats country roads. Coming back around going through Lower and Upper Bentley you will see the Lickey Hills in your sights for one last climb. From here on in, there is a relatively flattish route towards the finish with the odd spike in gradient, as you can head back through the quiet and undisturbed rural roads at a pace to suit you. Your ride includes:- A fully signed and  marshalled route, mechanical & medical support, pick-up wagons BBQ and refreshments for sale at the finish. Entry fees: Family Ride £10, Fun Ride £20, Challenge Ride £35.
