Ride the sun! This demanding yet spectacular cycle challenge takes us from lakeside Geneva through the Alps and Provence, following part of the historic Route Napoleon as we head south to the Mediterranean city of Nice. Your route takes in mountain passes, quiet valley roads and cruising descents. You will cycle via the picturesque towns of Annecy and Sisteron as you head through beautiful scenery of towering mountain peaks, spectacular limestone cliffs and gorges, dense forests and lavender fields. With long, challenging days in the saddle, the magnificence of the landscape motivates you to keep pedalling! Your unforgettable ride ends with a fabulous descent from the hills to Nice and the beach, where you'll have time to relax and appreciate your huge achievement. All accommodation is included as well as transfers to/from airports, and all meals except two (see more details). It also includes full trip support of experienced Discover Adventure leaders, drivers and mechanics. Support vehicles are with the group all of the time and carry your luggage to the hotels. This six day challenge is a great follow on for anyone that has completed a London to Paris cycle event. What better way to start this amazing challenge than to watch the finale of the Tour de France in the heart of Paris before setting off on this cycling adventure down to lakeside Geneva – our finishing point after five glorious days in the saddle. Cycle through famous landmarks of Paris, fields of wheat and sunflowers before crossing the beautiful Jura mountains and the hair-pin bends of the Col de la Faucille (1,323m), a climb that has featured many times in the Tour de France. Join Action Medical Research on this fabulous cycling adventure. Ride from the Italian capital of Rome to the world-renowned ruins of Pompeii. This trip combines diverse, challenging cycling with a wonderful Italian experience. Our exciting and diverse cycle challenge takes us through olive groves, vineyards and small villages, over the long, twisting foothills of the Apennines, to the stunning azure-blue Tyrrhenian coast – every day brings a different Italian flavour and a new challenge! Our last day sees us tackling the hilly Amalfi coast as we ride dramatic corniche roads, passing hidden bays and colourful cliffside towns, and loop back round north to the world-renowned ruins of Pompeii. Join us on this legendary challenge cycling from London to Paris. Starting in London, this 260 mile ride will take you through glorious English countryside, quiet French country lanes, through traditional market towns with views of the rolling green hills of northern France. Cycling is France's favourite sport, so don’t be surprised when the locals stop to cheer you on. The pièce de résistance of this cycle will be the chance to ride the last few miles of the Tour de France route through Paris to finish at the Eiffel Tower, then the following day you get to soak up the atmosphere of the final stage action live from the world famous Champs-Élysées, before celebrating your achievements in this fabulous capital. The ride caters for all levels of ability and this unique cycling experience will see you fully supported by the crew, leaving you to just cycle, enjoy the team spirit and focus on your goal of reaching Paris. Our Action London to Paris bike ride is a classic and highly ranked challenge suitable for any cycling enthusiast. Join us in 2018 as we ride to raise vital funds for medical research to help sick and disabled babies and children. Cycle through the beautiful and rolling countryside of southern England and northern France before arriving in glorious Paris, for one of the most exciting sporting weekends in the calendar – the spectacular finale of the Tour de France. In 2018 we’ll be riding a particularly special WW1 route though Dunkirk, Cambrai and Soissons. The route is steeped in history coupled with beautiful and varying landscapes achievable for all to ride and enjoy with lots of opportunities to stop off to take it all in. For many cyclists, a mountain stage of a major Tour is the ultimate one day test. The Paris-Roubaix Challenge though makes a mountain stage seem easy! Along the cobble strewn route you'll experience the entire spectrum of emotions from deep despair to total elation! The only question you have got to ask yourself is; 'Am I tough enough?' Perhaps it's time to find out... Travel out with us on 6th April in time for the event on 7 April. Choose from a two night or three night package. This event covers three distances 70Km, 145Km and 172Km. All three routes finish in Roubaix. What’s included: Coach & ferry transport, 2 or 3 nights accommodation, overland bike transport, secure bike storage at the hotel, dinner & breakfast included, a Santini cycling jersey, race entry and coach transport to the challenge. You will need to raise sponsorship of £900 (before Gift Aid is added) plus a non refundable deposit of £50 (100% of the sponsorship fund will need to be raised before departure). Alternatively you can pay the tour costs yourself (£459) with no obligation to raise funds - although we hope you will try! NB: Prices are based on 2 people sharing. Single room supplement is £119.

Starting in Latvia and finishing in Estonia, this unique challenge links two beautiful capital cities in Eastern Europe. From the renowned art nouveau district of old Riga we follow the Baltic coastline all the way to the Gothic old town of Talinn, taking in picturesque villages and stunning landscapes along the way. Starting in Riga, Latvia you will cycle through through beautiful glacial hilocks, the stunning Gauja National Park to Cesis, famous for its 13th century castle of the Order of Knights. Cycle through the Gulf of Riga, through the town of Staicele, along the Salaca River before reaching Ainazi and cross the border here into Estonia with our route taking us through fishermen's villages onto Parnu. Next we visit Keila-Joa, a small village on the high coastal cliffs. Here we have time to explore the beautiful cascading waterfall before we get back on the bikes for the final stretch to Tallinn. What’s included: Return flights, local transfers, all accommodation and meals, tour leader and an available medic. A good level of fitness is required as you’ll be cycling for 50-75 miles a day. Every cyclist makes a huge difference. Money raised by the European cycle will help Marie Curie care for people living with a terminal illness. Cycling from London to Lille is one of Europe's greatest cycling challenges. The London to Lille cycle is a perfect weekend get-away for any cyclist. This two-day cycling route takes you from the heart of London winding your way through the traditional British countryside of rural Kent before reaching the famous white cliffs of Dover. You will then find yourself travelling through stunning picturesque countryside, beautiful quaint French villages and the historic battlefields of WW1 before making your way to the finish line in the wonderful city of Lille. Day 1: London to Calais (95 miles) Day 2: Calais to Lille (80 miles) Day 3: Lille to London What’s included: Ferry from UK to France, accommodation, support vehicles, group guides, mechanical  and medical support, luggage transfer and return Eurostar ticket. When you register, you will be asked to pay a registration fee of £99. A further £550 in costs will be payable before the departure date. The £550 can either be self-funded or it can come out of your sponsorship fund, in which case a minimum sponsorship fund of £1,100 applies before Gift Aid is added.
